    Ms. Marie Celso is the music teacher at St. Bernadette School. She is the music director and plays the organ for St. Bernadette Church. She is an experienced soloist and pianist. She  studied with Paul Schaff for the piano and organ, Ruth Kyler, Eleanor McClellian, Hilda Riggio for her voice, and Hallie Nolan for the oratorio.

    Ms. Celso has had professional appearances ranging from Radio City Music Hall as a soloist, toured the United States and South America, a solo in Philharmonic Hall, New York, to a solo on a cruise ship. She has preformed in various Dinner Theaters such as Fiddler on the Roof and Oklahoma.
 
           She has sung in the Boris Goldowsky Opera Company, Amato Opera Company, and Liederkranz Recitalist Award, in New York City. Also, Ms. Celso has sung in the Orchestra New England.
 
            As for performing in Church, our music director has been a soloist of the United Church of Christ, New York City. She has been the organist, choir director, and soloist in the Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden, CT, St. Vincent DePaul Church, East Haven, CT, and many others.
