Mrs. Claire Hart is the teacher at St. Bernadette School. She is experienced in teaching Catholic youth pre-school to second grade. She collaborates with others to develop pre-school parish youth program.        

    Mrs. Hart has developed and implemented multi- handicap deaf unit and presented workshops for teachers in diocese. In 2004, Mrs. Hart presented a workshop at the National Catholic Education Association Convention.

    Mrs. Hart has been teaching at St. Bernadette since 1991. In 2001, she received two awards: Catholic Educator Award and nominated for the Disney Teacher Award. In the past, Mrs. Hart was a head teacher at the Nursery on Notch Hill, has taught at St. Rose Elementary School in Meriden, St. Mary Elementary School in Ohio and Connecticut, and the American School for the Deaf located in West Hartford. Mrs. Hart has taught at many other schools.
 

    Mrs. Hart is a true inspiration and is loved by students, faculty, staff, and parents. We are proud to have to have Mrs. Hart as part of our school community along with our other inspiring and excellent teachers.
