In 7th grade, Mrs.Ciochine specializes in grammar, literature, and writing. Students read and write short stories, plays, and poems. At Christmas time students create their own plays in groups and write Halloween themed stories during Halloween. 7th and 8th graders are assigned graded journals. Everyday, Mrs. Ciochine writes a statement on the board. Sometimes she asks students to write about the meaning of a phrase or about personal experiences. At the end of the year, the 7th grade students go on a field trip to Boston. While on this exciting trip, kids and their guardians venture to many historical landmarks.
