When you walk into the fourth grade, it’s like a big adventure. The first major project students begin is making a skeleton out of empty milk gallons. Then in the spring, Mrs. Lombardo gives each student a caterpillar and they watch it turn into a butterfly. She sets up a tent that is full of butterflies that the students watched grow and they can sit in it and play with their critter friends. The students enjoy looking at their saltwater fish and turtle friends. They learn about the human body and try to solve different puzzles on her whiteboard.
