I am looking forward to a wonderful school year this year!  I come to you after teaching for 13 years at St. Mary-St. Michael School in Derby and then three years of various positions in both North Branford and Ansonia.  I have also directed a summer Science camp for five years.

*  To always come prepared to class-with proper supplies and your attention.

*To participate in classroom discussions.

*To complete all work neatly.

*To be respectful towards teachers, other students, and school property.

* Pre-Cursors/Exit Slips  10%

 

Pre-Cursors:  questions asked at the beginning of a class to see if students remember and can apply what we learned the previous day.

Exit Slips:  filled out at the end of the day and are for students to show that they were paying attention during class.

 

Extra Help:  available either before or after school.  Students must make arrangements with me to set up a date and time.  Please come prepared with specific questions.

 

Make Up Work:  

*Student is responsible for getting any missed work when they return from an absence.  All extra papers are in grade appropriate bins.

* Students will have three days after returning to complete all missed assignments.  If a prolonged absence occurs, we will discuss the due date.

* If arrangements can be made for work to be picked up or sent home with a sibling or friend, please do so. This will keep you from falling too far behind.
