Donate Your Beverage Can Pull Tabs for Ronald McDonald House
At our school we seek to instill in our students the imperative we all have to help others in need. Our school has been an active supporter of Ronald McDonald House for over 15 years. Our students, parishioners, and friends save the pull tabs from their beverage cans and send them to us. In turn, we donate them to Ronald McDonald House. Our donations help provide a "home away from home" to families whose children are being treated at local hospitals and health facilites. Won't you consider helping us help children in need and, at the same time help our own children particpate in doing good? Please follow this link to learn more about the wonderful work done at Ronald McDonald House;

Donate Your Time or Expertise
Volunteers make the world go around and our world is no different. Many of our programs benefit from the invaluable assistance we get from our tireless volunteers. Opportunities abound in such areas as our Lunch Program, helping with clerical tasks like envelope stuffing, occassional lifting and toting, visiting lecturers, and much more. Please call our office at 203-469-2271 to donate some of your valuable time to the children. Consider providing us with your email address so that we can keep you informed about volunteer opportunities as they arise. Our thanks for considering the donation of your time to such a worthy cause!
Participate in Our Continuing Education Program
The school has inaugurated a Continuing Education Program to allow the adults in our community (and beyond) to find enrichment, fun, and friendship. If you have a particular expertise, hobby, or profession that you would be willing to share with our SBS family and friends, please contact us! Our Continuing Ed. classes include the tremendously popular Wine 101 classes running throughout this school year. Examples of other popular class topics are: Travel, Local History, Personal Finance, Crafts, Foreign Language Instruction, and Literature Appreciation. However, the sky is the limit! If you have a suggestion for a class you would like to see held, would like to volunteer to assist in running the Continuing Education Program as support staff, or would like to participate as a class presenter, contact sbslibrarian@sbcglobal.net
