Statement of Policy:
Saint Bernadette Catholic School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate in its administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs. Because Saint Bernadette Catholic School seeks first to educate Catholics, Catholics will receive preference in admission decisions.
Admissions Procedures:
The following is a list of all forms and actions that are required for Admission to Saint Bernadette Catholic School:
1. The student meets the age of admission established for kindergarten through grade one by the State of Connecticut Department of Education.
2. A copy of the most current report card/standardized test scores
3. The completed student recommendation form (grades one through eight.)
4. The student and his/her parent must meet with the Principal to discuss placement.
5. The student must take a placement test or readiness test.
6. A letter of recommendation from the student’s pastor, rabbi, or minister.
